Well I absolutely love the ocean. I love the sound of it and the power it has. The waves are mesmerizing! I love that I grew up 5 minutes from it and got to appreciate it. I miss it tremendously when I'm gone.
Today we got to spend some time up close to the Atlantic. Maria had a blast collecting sea shells. We took a few family pictures and Joe dug in the tide pools (which were freezing cold he said) for creatures hiding in shells. It was a great morning!
(We weren't quite at the cape but close enough! Maybe tomorrow we'll make it there, but to be honest this little beach is better!)
