As you can see balloons come in all shapes and sizes. The cow is HUGE! And rarely flies (the weather has to be really good). My favorite this year was the butterfly. Joe liked the zebra and I think Maria just loved them all.

Balloon Fiesta 2011
Yesterday we went to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta (http://www.balloonfiesta.com/). Its one of my favorite things. I would never go in a hot air balloon but being on the field with hundreds (there were 555 registered in the event this year apparently) of balloons and thousands of people is absolutely surreal.
